2nd Annual MAE CE Seminar at The Big House



Join MAE for a full day at The Big House May 8th, 2020


Please join us for the 2nd annual CE seminar at The Big House—The University of Michigan’s Football Stadium.

Our guest speakers for the day will be Dr. Ove Peters and Dr. David Landwehr. Please see their biographies and course descriptions below.

The seminar will be held in The Regent’s Guest Suite within the stadium (same as last year). This venue provides an intimate setting with a very unique backdrop.

*Field access and a tour of the locker room will be included.

9:00 am: Dr. Ove Peters—When Less Becomes More: Utilizing Advanced Tools & Techniques for Maximum Effect

11:30 am: Lunch

12:15 pm: Dr. David Landwehr—Diagnostic Dilemmas: The Pulp May Not Be The Problem

2:30 pm: Field and locker room tour

When arriving at Gate 9 off of Keech Ave., please pull toward the stadium gate in your vehicle. A parking attendant will be present and waive you through Gate 9, into the stadium/onto the concourse (again, in your vehicle). They will direct you toward the Ross Tower (northwest tower) of the stadium where you will park. Signage will also be present. You will enter the Ross Tower where event staff will escort you to the Regents Guest Suite.


Speakers


Dr. Ove Peters

Dr. Peters is currently a professor and and Director of Endodontic Research in the Endodontics Department at the University of Pacific. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has earned a world-wide reputation for his publications, lectures and research.

He received his degree in dentistry from the University of Kiel in 1990. His post-graduate Endodontics degree was earned at the Zurich University Dental School. Dr. Peters was previously Head of the Faculty Practice in Restorative Dentistry in Switzerland. Upon relocating to California, he received a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology and another certificate specializing in endodontics at UCSF in 2006.

Dr. David Landwehr

Dr. Landwehr is Chief of Endodontics for the Meriter Hospital general practice residency program in Madison, WI. He has presented case studies in endodontics and oral pathology both nationally and internationally. In addition, he has published several articles in various peer reviewed journals and served as an evidence reviewer for the American Dental Association.

Dr. Landwehr holds a D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota, an M.S. degree and certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from Ohio State University and has completed specialty training in endodontics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Landwehr has maintained a private practice in his home state of Wisconsin since 1999. Though his practice focuses on endodontics, his dual certification in endodontics and oral pathology makes him uniquely qualified to diagnose sources of oral pain.
